The Progressive Party of Missouri Gains Ballot Access The Green Party of Central Missouri pitched in with the Progressive Party of Missouri (the state affiliate of the Green Party of the United States), the Kansas City Area Greens, the Two Rivers Greens and other allies across the state to collect nearly 15,000 signatures. On August 22nd, Secretary of State Robin Carnahan announced that the party and its candidates had met legal requirements and certified the PPMO to appear on the ballot. Greens Cosponsor 2006 Sustaible Living Fair We are once again cosponsoring Columbia's Sustainable Living Fair. When: Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006 from 10am to 6pm Where: The Unity Center at 1600 W. Broadway in Columbia What: The fair features dozens of educational booths and workshops including Household Energy Conservation, Landscaping with Missouri's Native Plants, Peak Oil? - Staying Ahead of the Curve, and Natural Foods Cooking; as well as, displays on hybrid and alternative fuel vehivles. This year's keynote speaker will be Dave Konkle the City Energy Coordinator for Ann Arbor, Michigan speaking on how communities can implement local programs to reduce global warming.
